What's New in the Scheduler

An overview of the key changes in our redesigned Scheduler.

Written by Emma

We've made significant updates to the Scheduler including new features, an updated design, and other improvements to help you build, adjust, and share your team's schedule faster.

Here's a look at what's changed.

New Schedule Views

See your schedule your way

Switch between day, week, and two-week scheduler views. Try the 2 week view to match your bi-weekly payroll period!

Schedule Layout for Every Monitor

Choose the layout that suits you

Pick a compact or more spacious layout for your schedule.

Plan your week in one place

The weekly Planner brings together scheduled hours, open shifts, labor costs, and projected sales alongside your schedule.

Make everyday changes more easily

Move shifts with drag and drop, adjust their length directly on the schedule, and reuse recent shift times when creating new shifts.

Spend less time rebuilding schedules

Copy shifts to other dates or save a schedule as a template to use again.

Fill open shifts with less back and forth

See who has applied, review applicants, and invite employees to take a shift, all from the shift details.

Keep on top of team requests

The "Actions" panel brings shift swap/drop and time off requests and open-shift applications together, making it easier to see what needs your attention.

Find the people and shifts you need

Filter by employee, position, or section, and organize your schedule by employee, position.

Understand scheduling warnings more clearly

Clearer messages explain which issues need attention and when a scheduling rule prevents a change.

Share your schedule with more control

Review hours, shifts, and costs before publishing, add a manager note, and choose who receives a notification. Updated print options let you choose how the schedule is presented.
