A redesigned Scheduler is coming to SocialSchedules at the start of November. Here's what's changing, when it's happening, and how to try it now.
When is the new Scheduler switching over?
At the start of November, we'll move every SocialSchedules account over to the new Scheduler.
From then on, everyone will be using the new Scheduler, and we'll retire the current version. Your schedules and shifts will be right where you left them.
Want a head start? Try it out now, so it already feels familiar by the time the switch happens.
Can I try it out now?
Yes. Click Try the new Scheduler in the navigation menu to turn it on.
Until the switchover, you can move between the current and new Scheduler whenever you like. Your data is synced between the two, so any shifts or changes you make in one will show up in the other.
What's new?
The new Scheduler has a refreshed design, plus new features to help you build, adjust, and share your schedule faster. Don't worry, all the features you know and love are still there. Some just have a new look.
Highlights include:
Day, week, and two-week views. The new two-week view is ideal if you run payroll on a bi-weekly period.
Compact and spacious layouts. Choose the layout that suits your screen.
Keyboard shortcuts. Get around the Scheduler and make changes without reaching for your mouse.
Weekly Planner. See scheduled hours, open shifts, labor costs, and projected sales alongside your schedule.
Easier edits. Drag and drop shifts, adjust shift length on the schedule, copy shifts to other dates, and save schedules as templates.
Actions panel. See shift swap, drop, and time off requests and open-shift applications in one place.
I have feedback about the new Scheduler
Great, we're all ears! There are two ways to tell us what you think:
Click the Feedback tab inside the new Scheduler.
Chat with our team using in-app chat.
Your feedback is already shaping the new Scheduler. Based on what customers have told us so far, we've made adjustments to the Planner and the color scheme.
And it's not just the Scheduler. We'd love to hear your thoughts on any part of SocialSchedules, so we can keep making it work the way you need.
