TimeClock Kiosks

Turn your iPad or Android tablet into a TimeClock kiosk

TimeClock kiosk harnesses your iPad or Android tablet to create a station where workers clock in / clock out for shifts and breaks. Setting up a TimeClock kiosk is a two step process:

  1. Create TimeClock for the location in the desktop app

  2. Install TimeClock app on your device and login to connect to the TimeClock

Requires:

  1. Administrator permission

  2. User Account with a mobile number

  3. Device operating system minimum requirements: iPad (iOS 9.0 or later) and Android tablet (Version 5.0 or later)

Note: Android Kindle and devices running Android GO are not supported

Step 1 - Create Time Clock from Desktop App

  1. Mega Menu > Attendance > Time Clocks

  2. Setup Time Clock

    1. Name: your Kiosk

    2. Add Schedules: select schedules for the location using this TimeClock

    3. click CREATE

  3. Once kiosk is created, an email containing setup instructions is sent to your email address.

Step 2 - Install TimeClock App on Tablet

  1. From the device, go to App Store (iPad) or Play Store (Android) 

  2. Search for “SocialSchedules TimeClock”

  3. Download & Install, (TimeClock icon displays on completion)

  4. Login to TimeClock App using your mobile number

  5. Select and install TimeClock that you setup in step 1 above

Once the selected kiosk is installed you will see the list of employees from the schedules you have associated with the TimeClock. Your TimeClock is now operational and ready for your employees to clock in.

Troubleshooting TimeClocks

Occasionally TimeClocks can stop saving clock-in photos or similar issues. If that happens there are some steps you can attempt to solve it.

Create new TimeClock from Desktop App

  1. Login to your SocialSchedules account from a Desktop Computer or Laptop

  2. Select a Location and navigate to Attendance > Time Clocks > Create New

  3. Name your new TimeClock and Add Departments

Uninstall/Re-Install TimeClock App on Tablet

  1. Uninstall the SocialSchedules TimeClock App from the iPad

  2. Go to the App Store and proceed to download and reinstall the TimeClock App.

  3. Once reinstalled, launch the TimeClock App

  4. Login using your mobile number and password associated with your SocialSchedules Administrator account

  5. Once logged in, follow the prompts to install the new TimeClock created in step #1, which will bring it online.

  6. Once the new TimeClock is installed and bought online, previous versions can be removed from the Responsive Desktop.
