Manage Hourly Rates

Manage labor costs by setting position and/or worker hourly rates

Hourly rates Hourly rates are set against each Position, however, these can be overridden for individual workers. For example, a Bake position may have a default rate of $20, but worker John Smith may earn $22 when working as a Baker.

Set Rate by Position

  1. Go to Settings > Organization > Positions

  2. Click on the position you want to edit

  3. Enter the hourly rate.

  4. Select

    1. "All Workers" checkbox or

    2. individual workers

  5. Save

Set Rate by Worker/Employee

  1. Go to Network > Worker Profile > Positions & Pay Rates.

  2. Select the 'Edit' pencil icon for the position to be updated.

  3. Enter the hourly rate for the position.

  4. Effective From (see backdating rates below)

    1. Any day in the last 28 days can be selected

    2. Future dates cannot be selected

  5. Click on Save when done.

Backdating effective dates for Rate Changes/Pay Changes

If an individual has a rate change (where that rate increase, pay raise, decrease or correction, it is only possible to back date the change 28 days.

Rate changes made on the worker profile will immediately be seen on the impacted worker timecards.
