Before you start: each location needs its own unique API key. If you are connecting more than one location, repat these steps for every location.

Log in to your Genius Restaurant POS dashboard.

Use the location selector at the top of the page to check which location you're viewing. The key you create only applies to the location you are currently viewing. ​

Open the top left menu and go to Integrations. ​

Click + New to open the Integration Setup window. ​

Set Integration Type to API. ​

Scroll Integration Partner until you find OpenSimSim/SocialSchedules/InHouseDelivery/Salaris. ​

The new integration appears in your Integrations list with Enabled: Yes. Click the row to reopen it and view the API key.

Copy the API Key. You will paste it into SocialSchedules in the next section.

9. Copy the API Key. You will paste it into SocialSchedules in the next section.

To connect Genius Restaurant POS to SocialSchedules you need an API key generated from your Genius account. The key lets SocialSchedules retrieve your employees, positions, and sales history; forecast sales; and show labor costs against actual sales.
