What is On-Demand Pay?
On-Demand Pay is a financial benefit that allows eligible SocialSchedules users to take advances before payday. The service is powered by Clair, with all advances issued by Clair’s partner bank, Pathward®, N.A.

Who can sign up for On-Demand Pay?
In order to sign up for On-Demand Pay, you must:
● Be over the age of 18 and a US resident
● Live in a state in which Clair operates
● Be actively employed by a business that uses [Partner Name]
● Get paid via direct deposit

Is On-Demand Pay available in all locations?
On-Demand Pay is available only to U.S. employees who reside in a state where Clair operates. Currently, Clair is available in all U.S. states except Connecticut, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Mexico, Nevada, and South Dakota.
How much does it cost to use On-Demand Pay?
There is no fee to sign up for On-Demand Pay or to receive standard speed advances, which arrive within 1–3 business days. For each advance you choose to receive instantly, there is a single $4.99 fee*.

*Instant Transfers typically occur in seconds, but may take up to 30 minutes. If you choose to have your Advance disbursed to your bank account instantly, you will be charged a $4.99 fee. This instant transfer fee will be taken out of your Advance at the time of disbursement.
Is my employer notified if I use On-Demand Pay?
No, your employer is not notified. Although your employer is aware of this benefit, they are not directly notified when any employees take or repay an advance, and it has no impact or change to your employer’s payroll process.

Does using On-Demand Pay affect my credit score?
No. Using On-Demand Pay does not have any impact on your credit score and does not require a credit check.

How much can I advance?
The easiest way to see how much you can advance right now is to visit your On-Demand Pay dashboard within SocialSchedules. How much you can advance increases as you get closer to payday, up to your overall pay cycle limit. So if the amount you need isn't available today, you can check again tomorrow!

Can I advance tips?
At the moment, the Clair and SocialSchedules partnership does not support early tip pay-out. This is something we're actively looking at, so stay tuned!
Where can I send my advance?
If you want to receive your advance instantly, you can send it to your debit card*.
Please note that we cannot send advances to credit cards, prepaid cards, or international cards. Otherwise, you can send a standard advance to your linked bank account. The advance will be deposited in your account within 1–3 business days.

How does repayment work?
Typically, all advances you take within a given pay cycle are repaid automatically when you receive your next paycheck. You can also repay your advances early by selecting the outstanding advance from your advance history on the On-Demand Pay dashboard.

What’s my pay cycle limit?
Your pay cycle limit is the maximum amount you can advance between paydays. To view your current pay cycle limit, go to your On-Demand Pay dashboard.

How can I increase my pay cycle limit?
The best thing you can do to increase your pay cycle limit is to repay your advances on time. As You consistently repay advances across multiple pay cycles, you may see your pay cycle limit increase.
Please note that the amount you can advance each pay cycle is also dependent on how much you earned at work during your previous pay cycle, which means you may not be able to advance all the way up to your pay period limit.
